Chef Instructor Jon-Paul Hutchins, from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, demonstrates how to make the perfect hard-boiled egg. To begin, put an egg in a pot of cold water. Never start with a pot of boiling water. Bring it to a boil and cover it. Once it is boiling, take it off the fire and leave it for 20 minutes. It will be completely cooked, creamy and tender. There you have it, the perfect hard-boiled egg.
