Learn to make one of India’s most popular vegetarian dishes: tadka dal. This famous dish can be made from various types of lentils and is so simple to cook.
For this dish, Monica used the yellow split moong lentil, a staple of many Indian households.
Making tadka dal is a two-step process: first boiling the lentils and then making the tadka (frying the spices).
