  1. i mean dont get me wrong, i love cooking and it itself is a kind of art, but that combined with the camerawork, setting up the shots focus, editing and all just fills me with joy every time. truely a work of art

  2. The camerawork in this video is amazing
That shot of you cutting the spinach at 09:32 is absolutely beautiful!

  3. The shot of the chopped, steamed spinach was absolutely too beautiful. You’re some kind of gastronomical warlock.

  4. Alvin your videos are so beautifully shot and edited, mixed well with your music, very well done. I know they’re time consuming and that life gets in the way but you’ve got such a following already. I highly encourage you to please continue to create these amazing cooking videos as they’re not only informative and inspirational but relaxing as well. Thank you for inviting us all into your kitchen and sharing your gifts with the world.

  5. Alvin, I don’t know what you could possibly be cooking that would take 6 months, but I’m sure it will be amazing! Seriously though, I hope you are well. Come back soon. :)

  6. Alvin, you were so importante during my pandemic life. Your videos bring me peace and satisfaction. Hope you’re well. Miss you. Thanks for your art and love.

  7. I’ve heard Alvin’s voice plenty of times in the various different online series’ he’s been in, but the little noises he makes in these videos just hits something different. They make me unreasonably happy.

  8. My Christmas wish this year is for another one of your videos, please! :)
The food, the artistry, the aesthetic, the music, it all marries so well and seriously just brings me (and clearly so many other people) so much joy. I’ve watched your latest video closer to when you posted it and I have been itching for a new video ever since. No pressure and I CANNOT wait for your next one! Warm regards, Alvin!!

  9. I love how in all the channels he cooks on, like tasty or binging with babish he always does the most extravagant things, but here its just calm and peaceful.
